How much down payment do I need?+
It depends on the loan program. Conventional loans can go as low as 3% down for first-time buyers. FHA requires 3.5% with a 580+ FICO. VA loans require zero down for eligible veterans. Jumbo and non-QM loans typically require 10–20%. We'll tell you the minimum for your exact scenario when you get a quote.
Will I get pre-approved?+

Conventional loans typically require a minimum 620 FICO. FHA goes down to 580. VA has no official minimum but most lenders want 620+. Jumbo loans typically require 700+.
